In 2015, Yoox purchased NAP shares from Richemont and established the Yoox-Net-a-Porter Group. In May 2018, Richemont acquired YNAP by purchasing 95% of the company's available shares. The combined company has become a global e-commerce player that serves more than 180 countries worldwide.

A former employee of Net A Porter wrote this on indeed.com: Net A Porter is the worst place to work and if I had another place to work this is the last option. Management has a serious case of favoritism and I clearly wasn't on the favorite list. The coworkers there are extremely not genuine and extremely rude. I don't recommend this place.

Packer/Picker (Former Employee) says

"This is a god awful company that exploits migrant workers. They offer zero hour contract which means you have no job security. They will treat you like a donkey. Cons: Exploitative"

operaia (Former Employee) says

50 gradi in estate è 0 in inverno."

Sales Consultant (Former Employee) says

"This company is terrible. The compensation is terrible and the managers do nothing but micromanage you. I would rather be unemployed then work there. k"

Prelievo, imballaggio (Former Employee) says

"Ho lavorato all' imballaggio e prelievo.

Express Temp (Former Employee) says

"This job was absolutely the worst place to work and if I had another place to work this is the last option. Management has a serious case of favoritism and I clearly wasn't on the favorite list. The coworkers there are extremely not genuine and extremely rude. I don't recommend this place."

Imbustaggio, confezionamento (Former Employee) says

I bagni spesso sporchi e fetidi.

Sales and Customer Care Consultant (Former Employee) says

"Constantly having to apologize for things out of your control since the quality control for this company is abysmal. Customers are always upset about the delivery methods as the cheapest methods are often used. The managers have their favorites and it is very obvious who they prefer regardless of their performance."

Porter group (Former Employee) says

Finance (Former Employee) says

"Truly awful place to work. Management is incompetent both in terms of managing the policies& processes as well as people. The department I worked in was extremely unorganized which created a lot of chaos and anxiety for the staff. I would definetely not recommend this workplace. Cons: Management"

Quality & Repair (Current Employee) says

"not a great environment overall. Needs to pay warehouse employees more money. People from the office feel more superior then people from the warehouse. Cons: envoironment"

Ex-Facchina (Former Employee) says

Cons: Innumerevoli"

Addetta reparto automazioni fotografiche (Former Employee) says

"Ambiente molto competitivo, ritmi serrati da fabbrica bengalese, lavoro alienante, stesse azioni, stessi movimenti per 8 ore, orari su turni, retribuzione molto bassa, nessuna possibilità di crescita né professionale, né umana. Cons: Nessuna crescita professionale, lavoro meccanico e ripetitivo"

Creative (Former Employee) says

"They pay $15 an hour for a creative job and then think $600 is a good annual raise. Also remember they are hourly and a person in Saudi Arabia just bought 40% of the company so most likely will out source all jobs in USA. Bad salary, and don't promote, just dangle it in front of you so you work hard. Only apply and accept a job here if you are desperate. Cons: Bad salary, bad raises, won't promote, not a place to work long term"

Fullfillment Associate (Former Employee) says

"This company is all about Management. All they are concerned about is themselves. The actual workers are petty pawns. The raises for maximum work is via cents. So this is not the place to retire at. This company allows for employees to express themselves in a racial format to each other. There is a lot of favoritism with the company. Basically the hire then fire so they don't have to give you a raise. Which is not much as I have mentioned. The training is way different once you start actually working. The pay schedule sucks. Every other month you only get paid for 30 hours but work 4 days. Cons: Management, Racist, Pay, Unsophisticated"

E-Commerce Associate/Fulfillment Associate (Former Employee) says

"wasnt the best experience, bosses are rude, HR dept doesnt work in your best interest. A lot of micro managing. Management is not qualified to over see people."

Data Entry (Former Employee) says

Manutentore (Former Employee) says

Cons: Stipendio, orari lavorativi, gestione dell'azienda."

Customer Care Consultant (Former Employee) says

"They make you go through many interviews and once they are satisfied they call you with the congratulations talk. Then they push you to hand in your notice before they give you a 2 week training. They expect you to get 85% in your training, this result changes every year."

Packer associate (Former Employee) says

"Great place to shop! But again treats the workers like no-bodies no comparison, no room to grow, rude, ridiculous bunch of miserable individuals!! You would think they were doctors or doing a service something important!! Cons: Not a great place to work at time, rethink it t would b a waste of time!!"

Sveta Is says

"I am referring to the order n. 11682685 I made on December, 10th, of a very expensive Naturae Sacra bag. The item arrived to me damaged, with a visible wrinkle on the body and signs and a hole on the handle. Such quality is absolutely not acceptable for the price I paid (440,55 euro) I requested the return, but the currier refused to pick up the parcel with the return label that I received in the package with the item. It took another week to receive the correct label. Finally on December, 29th the currier picked up the return parcel and from that moment I haven't received any update about the return and I haven't received the refund, even if the term of 10 working days according to the return policy had already passed. I wrote to the customer service, but - no answer and no refund, and this is not acceptable. This is the first time in my on-line shopping experience to be treated so badly by the seller, without receiving any feedback from the customer service and without knowing if I will ever receive my refund, and I am really upset about that."

Oana says

"Starting 01.01.2021 the shopping experience is way to difficult as NAP works ONLY with DHL - the biggest delivery company - which leave the entire customs clearance procedure to the client. This normally should be assigned to the Delivery company (it's their job to deliver I guess). It is ok for me to pay taxes and duties, but with DHL it is more than that. There are some documents I didn't know how to obtain. In case of returning I faced the same unfriendly procedure. I won't buy from NAP again as long as DHL will be their only delivery option. There are too many on-line luxury companies to choose from. I understand that it is not their fault for all this bureaucracy coming from DHL. However they are responsible to take into consideration other delivery companies knowing all these delivery issues. Until then "1 star shopping experience"."

Valentina Moresco says

"All the recent orders had issues with the deliveries and with the latest one I am facing issues with the customer service due to the fact they do not want to refund me taxes while on their website they state that the refund is complete with taxes."

Suzanne Schon says

"Do not spend your money here. Bought a Christmas gift for my Mum and on the 12th Jan I still don’t have it. They ship with DHL who have lost my parcel and I competely understand that is out of Net-a-porters hands but I’ve let Net-a-Porter know I don’t have the parcel and they have done nothing. I have been chasing DHL for answers because they won’t resend the item (out of stock) or issue a refund. DHL tell me they have communicated with Net-a-Porter on the status of my delivery but they are not responding to my emails. Really frustrated and disappointed."

Lilly says

"I would give them 0! Customer service not answering at all. My calls are rejected and no answer in emails and messages. I made a purchase 8 days ago, not dispatched yet. Was ordering from Marchesfashion and MyTheresa in high season and never had an issue. Never again!"

Francesca Angrisani says

"I received an already used product but the worst experience I had with this purchase was discovering the deodorant was expired and if I did not had the knowledge on how to read the batch number, I would have never known that. I had the opportunity to get a brand new deodorant (not received yet) but I would have expected a better feedback/resolution of this very unfortunate situation. The customer service experience has been very poor/disappointing."

Sasalia Setiono says

"My order was undelivered to me and it has been 6 weeks now and I still havent gotten a refund or any resolution. I contact them everyday asking and no responses or whatsoever regarding my case. Now my shoes are all soldout, and they still havent given me my money back."

Anna says

"The website doesnt work properly, customer service not helpful..no explanation..."

Jolita R says

"This horrible company hasn’t refunded me. I placed an order in NOVEMBER (!!!!!!!) and still waiting to get my money back for my lost parcel!!! I wrote many letters to NAP’s customer service and didn’t get an answer. For sure, never again shopping on NAP!!!"

Daria Zie says

"I have been waiting for a return for over a month. Customer services is unable to provide the return date. I will never buy anything else there. Regular customer"

Ian O’Shea says

"I was very disappointed, my express delivery did not turn up at all. And I was not notified, this was supposed to of been a Christmas present for my daughter, which was a huge blow. I will definitely not be recommending or using you in the future, I will stick with Harrods or selfridges for my future orders, whom have never let me down before!"

Carmel bullivant says

"Lucky cherry lipstick was a little waxy . It stayed on well even thru my shower and didn’t get the usual cakey ring around my lips when lipstick wears off! Smelt like coconut! Loved it! Carmel bullivant"

Vessi says

"I’ve got mixed feelings about Net-a-Porter. Pros: 1. Delivery was quick. I opted for the standard (£5) delivery option and my scarf came in 2 working days. Quite efficient. 2. Packaging was nice. Beautiful box with ribbon and matching paper to keep the item well protected. Cons: 1. Their app and website need improvements. I got a couple of errors with no explanation whatsoever. An example - discount codes don’t work with all brands (understandable), but you won’t be given a message what went wrong. Instead you’ll be taken back to the payment page as if the card number was wrong. I had to figure this out by myself by going through the entire FAQ. 2. I don’t think that the item I received was new. It was a bit wrinkled. This is not how Gucci ships their stuff. Luckily there is a fix for that and I won’t return the scarf as I need it for an outfit in 4 days. Overall I’m not sure if I’d give Net-a-Porter another chance."
